Weiser in Pitkin Aug. 16!
Our friends over at the Pitkin County Democrats are bringing Colorado Attorney General and candidate for Governor Phil Weiser to Aspen, and we love seeing our neighboring county making things happen!
Join the Pitkin County Democrats for Fighting for Colorado, a town hall with Phil Weiser on Sunday, August 16 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM at the Pitkin County Library, 120 N. Mill Street in Aspen.
This is what strong Democratic organizing on the Western Slope looks like. Our counties may have different names and different communities, but we are all part of the same fight to make sure Western Colorado has a voice.
To attend, RSVP here or below: tinyurl.com/pitkintownhallwithphil
A huge shoutout to the Pitkin County Democrats for putting this together and creating another opportunity for Western Slope voters to hear directly from our statewide candidates.
Garfield County, let’s show our neighbors some love. If you can make the trip to Aspen, RSVP and go support Pitkin County Dems!
When Western Slope Democrats show up for one another, we are stronger.
GarCo Dems Annual Picnic August 23
It’s time for one of our favorite traditions of the year: the Annual Garfield County Democrats Picnic!
Join us Sunday, August 23 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Grand River Park in New Castle.
Our annual picnic is always one of our biggest gatherings, and this year we’re looking forward to another great afternoon together. We’ll have speakers, music, plenty of food, and most importantly, a chance to spend time with friends, neighbors, candidates, volunteers, and Democrats from across Garfield County.
The Garfield County Democrats will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers.
If you can, bring a dish to share! And if you can’t, please don’t let that stop you from coming. Bringing something is absolutely not required. We want YOU there more than we want your casserole.
And don’t worry about bringing a salad. We’ve got the salads covered!
If you are bringing a dish, please sign up here so everyone can see what’s already being brought and we don’t end up with 17 pans of the same thing:

Come eat, listen to some music, meet new people, catch up with old friends, talk about what’s happening in our communities, celebrate the work we’ve accomplished, meet some of the people working to represent us, and spend an afternoon with people who believe democracy is worth showing up for.
Politics is important, but so is community. Sometimes we need to put down the clipboards, stop knocking doors for a minute, grab a hamburger, turn up the music, and just enjoy being together.
