It’s time for one of our favorite traditions of the year: the Annual Garfield County Democrats Picnic!

Join us Sunday, August 23 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Grand River Park in New Castle.

Our annual picnic is always one of our biggest gatherings, and this year we’re looking forward to another great afternoon together. We’ll have speakers, music, plenty of food, and most importantly, a chance to spend time with friends, neighbors, candidates, volunteers, and Democrats from across Garfield County.

The Garfield County Democrats will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers.

If you can, bring a dish to share! And if you can’t, please don’t let that stop you from coming. Bringing something is absolutely not required. We want YOU there more than we want your casserole.

And don’t worry about bringing a salad. We’ve got the salads covered!

Come eat, listen to some music, meet new people, catch up with old friends, talk about what’s happening in our communities, celebrate the work we’ve accomplished, meet some of the people working to represent us, and spend an afternoon with people who believe democracy is worth showing up for.

Politics is important, but so is community. Sometimes we need to put down the clipboards, stop knocking doors for a minute, grab a hamburger, turn up the music, and just enjoy being together.
